One of every seven iPhones is now made in India

Apple assembled $14 billion worth of iPhones in India during the last fiscal year. This is double the amount from the previous period, marking a push towards reducing its dependency on China.

According to Bloomberg, one in seven iPhones is now made in India, which is about 14% of the total output.

Apple decided to move some of the device production to India, following the geopolitical tension between the United States and China. Local sources revealed Foxconn assembled nearly 67% of the total, with 17% more manufactured by Pegatron in the twelve-month period ending in March...
