Samsung already producing OLEDs for the iPhone 15 family, BOE is behind schedule

The Elec reports that Apple gave the green light to Samsung to start manufacture the OLED panels for all four upcoming iPhone 15 models. However, the Production Validation Testing (PVT) stage hasn't started for the other two OLED suppliers - LG and BOE. Insiders reveal that BOE is behind schedule as it has issues with yield. Most of the panels coming out of BOE's factories have light bleed around the cutout for the so-called Dynamic Island.
