In the last few months, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite was focal point of several leaks, but now we get to hear more on the vanilla Nord CE 3. We have an official confirmation from OnePlus itself on the chipset that will be powering the phone.
The OEM has set up a landing page for the Nord CE 3 and has confirmed that the Snapdragon 782 chipset will be running under the hood. This is in line with the specs leak from March.
The chipset itself was announced in November last year and comes as a replacement to the popular Snapdragon 778G+. It offers modest CPU and GPU performance boost over...

Samsung unveils new Galaxy Buds2/Buds2 Pro Pokemon Edition
Last year Samsung unveiled a special Pokemon Edition of the Galaxy Buds2, which was shaped like a Poke Ball. That proved popular enough that now the company is releasing a new series, this time shaped like three Pokemon: Snorlax, Ditto and Jigglypuff.
Thanks to their compatible cases, these are available in both Galaxy Buds2 and Galaxy Buds2 Pro flavors. The vanilla buds are KRW 130,000, the Pro models are KRW 200,000 (roughly the same prices as the vanilla versions). Note that these are launching only in South Korea for now.
The Pokemon Special edition will be available online tomorrow...

Xiaomi Redmi 12 in for review
Say hi to the Redmi 12, Xiaomi's very freshly-announced entry-level phone with good specs for a good price.
Let's unbox it, then we'll go over both. Similar to the entry-level Galaxy phones, the Redmi 12 ships with a USB cable, but manages to squeeze in a case as well. There's no charger, though, so you'll need to supply your own - the phone supports 18W charging.
Back to the specs. The Redmi 12 has an ample 6.79-inch IPS LCD of 1080x2460px resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The panel is vibrant and ramps up surprisingly bright.
The SoC is a 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 paired with...

Our Realme 11 Pro+ vs 11 Pro video comparison is out now
Whenever we review a phone, we conclude by comparing it to its rivals, which are always similar in price. In the case of the Realme 11 Pro, one of its closest rivals was the Realme 11 Pro+, which at the time of publication is only INR 4,000 (€45, converted) more expensive.
The two are close in specs - the same display, battery, and chipset - but the Pro+ does offer a tangible advantage with faster charging, and a better all-round camera system.
But all of that's on paper. We pit the two in a video comparison to visualize how they differ and if the savings from the Pro+ to the Pro are...

FTC: Microsoft-Activision Blizzard deal should remain blocked for now
Microsoft finds itself in yet another legal hurdle as the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has appealed for an injunction to temporarily block its $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The FTC appealed the decision to block the proposed Microsoft-Activision merger in federal court citing potential harm to competition in the console, cloud gaming and gaming subscription sectors. The FTC’s in-house court needs more time to assess the situation and rule whether the merger would be detrimental to consumers.
This is not the first instance of regulators being hesitant to give...

The Motorola Razr 40 goes on sale in China, is coming to Europe next month
The more affordable Motorola Razr 40 arrives a few weeks after its pricier Razr 40 Ultra sibling. Right now the vanilla model is only available in China through Lenovo’s online store with a starting price of CNY 4,000 for the 8/128GB model.
We had a look through Motorola sites for other countries and they all said the local equivalent of “coming soon”. We did spot it on one Czech retailer, which estimates the arrival date as July 21, i.e. a month from now. You can pre-order a unit for CZK 21,600, which converts to €910. That’s more than the €800 that the Razr 40 was supposed to...
