Nothing Phone (2a) Plus launches in Europe

The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus was announced back in July and was released a month later in some markets, but continental Europe wasn't one of them. At this year's IFA in Berlin, Nothing announced that this is changing.

vivo T3 Ultra's launch date and design officially revealed

vivo unveiled the vivo T3 Pro last week in India, which will be joined by the vivo T3 Ultra next week on September 12.

The vivo T3 Ultra will come with "advanced performance and imaging capabilities," and it will be sold through vivo's Indian website, Flipkart, and offline retail stores.

Honor MagicPad 2 12.3 in for review

This is the Honor MagicPad 2 12.3, just after making its global debut at IFA 2024 mere moments ago. The tablet is €599/£499 and on sale today and for that, you get a svelte machine with excellent multimedia credibility.

Huawei’s tri-fold Mate XT stars in new teaser video

Huawei is gearing up to announce its first tri-fold smartphone – the Mate XT on September 10 and the teaser campaign for the device is in full swing. The latest addition is a short teaser video which gives us a sneak peek at Mate XT’s design.

The video is headlined by actor, singer-songwriter, and film producer Andy Lau who is named as a brand ambassador for Huawei’s Ultimate Design brand. Mate XT features a vegan leather back with an octagon-shaped camera island that's not too different from the one on the Mate 60 RS Ultimate.

Oppo Find N5 / OnePlus Open 2 will be impressively thin, specs leak reveals

Oppo's next book-style foldable is coming soon, according to a now-deleted post by prolific Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station. This will be called Find N5 and it will be the successor to the Find N3 from last October.

The company will skip "4" most likely because of tetraphobia. The Find N5 will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. It will have a "2K+" inner folding screen, a 50 MP main camera using a Sony sensor, a periscope telephoto camera as well, and a circular camera island.

Qualcomm's new 8-core Snapdragon X Plus will drive laptop prices further down

As expected, Qualcomm delivered the new 8-core Snapdragon X Plus processor at the IFA 2024.

The chip slots in below the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite and 10-core Snapdragon X Plus models and has the same architecture, but is noticeably weaker in graphics, making it ideal for entry-level laptops.

The 8-core Snapdragon X Plus has 12MB less CPU cache (30MB in total) and less than half the GPU power for games and productivity apps.
