Time flies. The Motorola Edge 50 Neo was unveiled this week (our hands-on here), and today we have it at our doorstep and ready for review!

We got the Pantone Poinciana color, which is between orange, red, and magenta. It's a fascinating color in person, and trust us, it's much punchier than what the camera can show.

Realme 13 Pro+ gets a new color in India

Realme launched the Realme 13 Pro+ in India last month in two colors - Monet Gold and Emerald Green. These are now joined by a third color, called Monet Purple.

Like the other two versions, the Monet Purple model comes in 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB configurations, priced at INR32,999 ($395/€360), INR34,999 ($420/€380), and INR36,999 ($440/€400), respectively. It will go on sale in India starting September 2 through Realme's Indian website, Flipkart, and mainline channels.

ChatGPT now has 200 million weekly active users

It's hardly surprising that ChatGPT has managed to double its weekly active users since last November, given how much of a buzzword AI has been over the past year and the fact that ChatGPT is the most well known generative AI chatbot.

The OpenAI service now boasts 200 million active users every week, up from 100 million in 2023. OpenAI also says 92% of Fortune 500 companies are using its products, while usage of its automated API has doubled since the release of GPT-4o Mini last month.

The Honor Magic V3 foldable flagship will make its global debut at IFA this September

Even though Honor promised to move faster, the Honor Magic V2 still took its sweet time getting to Europe – the phone originally launched in late July 2023 and only came to Europe in late January 2024. Its successor is going to make the trip much faster.

New iPhone 16 Pro color is actually Gold, not Brown, latest leak suggests

The iPhone 16 Pro Max leaked earlier this month in a weird Brownish color, throwing everyone off. It had a bronze-like hue and while it had its fans it wasn't exactly universally loved.

People on the internet don't seem to like Google's new smartphone naming scheme, even though it makes sense - there's a vanilla Pixel 9 which is the lowest-specced, two slab Pros in two sizes, and a Pro Fold because with that price tag not attaching the "Pro" moniker to it would be insane.

Google Pixel 9 in for review

This is the Pixel 9 - the most affordable ticket to Google's latest AI goodies. It's also a very competent yet reasonably compact Android phone, which is not too common these days.

This year's Pixels ship in a recycled paper box with a sleeve. There's a USB-C cable in the box and that's that.

We also have the €40 official Pixel 9 case, which is available in six colors. It fits perfectly snug on the phone, especially around the camera bar. Upfront it isn't too intrusive. It's a soft silicone but it doesn't turn out your pocket when you take the phone off like some cheap ones...
