Foxconn hires 50,000 more workers in China to ramp up iPhone 16 production

Apple will likely unveil the iPhone 16 lineup in September, and it has reportedly set a shipment target of 90 million iPhone 16 units. To meet the target, Apple's manufacturing partner Foxconn has hired 50,000 new workers at its Zhengzhou factory in China, reports BusinessKorea.

T-Mobile recalls Revvl 7 Pro from all retailers

T-Mobile's line of own-brand Android smartphones added its latest members, the Revvl 7 and Revvl 7 Pro, a few weeks ago. And while the Revvl 7 is still safely on sale at TMo retail outlets and third party partners, the same can't be said for the Revvl 7 Pro.

This device has now been recalled by T-Mobile from all of its stores and retail partners. It's not on sale anymore. This is a rather unprecedented move, especially since the carrier hasn't announced a reason for the recall.

Instead, all we have to go by is the leaked memo you can see above, through which the magenta carrier is...

Apple Intelligence could cost $20 per month, analysts wildly speculate

Depending on how old you are, you may remember a time not so very long ago when "AI" meant what is today being referred to as "AGI". In the meantime, there's been a wild rebranding and here we are, living in a world where "AI" is large language models. But "AI" is also Apple Intelligence, because the Cupertino company couldn't help hijack the acronym for its own use.

And Apple Intelligence has been all the rage ever since its announcement in June. Sure, it's delayed and the first bits and pieces are now only expected to arrive in October, a month after the initially planned release. But...

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL specs leak, AI feature demoed

Pixel 9 phones are everywhere these days except where they are supposed to be: under wraps. We’ve had almost daily leaks and the latest is fairly detailed list of specs for the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL.

As we’ve heard before, the 9-series will break from tradition and come out with the current Android 14 out of the box instead of introducing the next version. This is likely a side effect of pulling the launch forward (the Pixel 8 phones came out in November). The 9-series phones will receive 7 years of Feature Drops, just like the 8-series.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL (as well as the vanilla Pixel...

iPad Air with OLED display rumored for 2026

The iPad Air lineup got a mild upgrade earlier this year with the new 11 and 13-inch models featuring the Apple M2 chip but both were still equipped with Liquid Retina IPS LCDs.

A new report out of South Korea claims the Air lineup is due for an OLED display upgrade in 2026. As per TheElec, Samsung Display is touted as the main supplier for the next generation iPad Air screens which will be of the single-stacked OLED variety and not the Tandem OLED found on the latest iPad Pros.

A previous report from last year also backs the same 2026 timeframe for the iPad Air OLED and suggests we...

Most things inside the phone are as slim as Honor could make it. The wireless charging coil, for example, is only 0.25mm thick (this includes the heat dissipation film on it). The internals of the device are a mix of metal and...
