Motorola Razr 50, S50 Neo launching on June 25 in China

Motorola finally revealed the launch date for its next-generation foldable phone – the Razr 50 will launch alongside the Motorola S50 Neo at an event in China on June 25. Lenovo China already has listings for both devices with the one for the S50 Neo revealing its key specs and design. In related news, Razr 50 is said to launch internationally in July alongside the Razr 50 Ultra.

Reuters: MediaTek is working on a Windows-on-ARM chip for Microsoft

Microsoft has redoubled its efforts to push Windows-on-ARM into the mainstream with the recent string of Snapdragon X laptops from Microsoft itself, Samsung, Dell, HP and Lenovo. But the company wants to offer more diverse options for manufacturers – Reuters reports that Microsoft has tapped MediaTek to design an alternative chipset.

What posts you liked on X used to be publicly available information, which would sometimes get people in trouble, so now the social platform, previously known as Twitter, is starting to make that data private.

New York State now part of the Mobile ID program

New York State residents can now use the New York Mobile ID app to store their state ID card, driver’s license or learner’s permit. The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play and it will be accepted at TSA security checkpoints across 30 airports in the US. Analyst: the foldable iPhone will have an outward folding design like the Huawei Mate Xs 2

Apple’s event yesterday focused on software and the company didn’t say much about hardware. But the company is working on at least two foldable devices behind the scenes – one 20.3” MacBook, which is reportedly closer to completion, and one 7.9” foldable iPhone.

The latter will have an outward folding design, similar to the Huawei Mate Xs 2, according to analyst Jeff Pu. This means a single display that covers the front and back of the device when folded and straightens out a flat singular display when opened.
