vivo Watch 3 ECG goes official with unchanged design

vivo had a big day today, unveiling its all-out camera flagship for 2024, the X100 Ultra, alongside the X100s and X100s Pro. But that wasn't all - the company also officially introduced the vivo Watch 3 ECG.

As the name implies, this is a simple update to the original Watch 3, which made its debut in November of last year. So think of the vivo Watch 3 ECG as a Watch 3 with added ECG support, since that's what it is.

The new watch will be priced at CNY 1,699 (approximately $234 or €217). However, if you buy one alongside an X series phone, you'll only pay CNY 1,499 ($207 or €191) for...

The original X100 series launched with the original 9300 chip. The plus model boosts the prime Cortex-X4 core to 3.4GHz (up from 3.25GHz) and improves the APU performance by 10% on AI tasks, however, the ARM Immortalis-G720 remains the same.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra to have one less camera than its predecessor

We're many, many months away from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and yet here's a new rumor about it. According to a tipster over on X, the S25 Ultra will come with three rear cameras, not four like its predecessor.

The one that will be dropped is allegedly the 10 MP 3x optical zoom telephoto. As you may have expected, Samsung will instead aim to convince us that the main camera on the S25 Ultra is able to take 3x zoom shots as well, if not better than a dedicated unit would have.

For this, the main camera will apparently receive improved image processing. Speaking of...

Realme promised the GT 6T will be India's first Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 smartphone, and now we have an official launch date. The company revealed the smartphone will arrive next Wednesday, May 22 at 12 noon IST.

The official info came alongside the first image of the phone, revealing the design and a 50 MP camera we've seen on the Realme GT Neo6 SE – a phone launched in China with the same Qualcomm chipset. There is a reasonable suspicion then that the two are actually the same device.

Realme said the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset can score over 1.5 million on AnTuTu and even claimed it...

Deals: Samsung Galaxy A55 and A35 prices fall even further

If the Samsung Galaxy S24 phones are too pricey, the A-series is the one to look at. Two weeks ago the Galaxy A55 was £440 for the 8/128GB model, the A35 was £340 for a 6/128GB phone, now they are £50-£80 cheaper. To be fair, the old offer included a free pair of Galaxy Buds FE, but not everyone needs new TWS buds.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 is a fairly premium device with an aluminum frame and dual Gorilla Glass (Victus+ on the front). The Exynos 1480 is efficient and powerful enough to drive the 6.6” FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. The A-phones have microSD slots for easy storage expansion, unlike...

The court decided that Lenovo utilizes technology InterDigital has a...

Weekly poll results: the Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design is a niche device

The Honor Magic6 RSR Porsche Design is a niche device, there are no two ways about it. Last week’s poll shows that there is some interest in such limited edition, rather pricey devices – perhaps bigger than we expected. If you have the money, why not treat yourself?

There isn’t much to complain about as far as the hardware is concerned, it’s just that you can buy two flagships for that kind of price. Or a premium device like the Honor Magic6 Pro and something else.

But Porsche Design has a pedigree and it is a fairly unique look. It’s not just pure design either, there are some...
