Xiaomi HyperOS (Android 14) review

Along with Xiaomi 14 series reveal, the company unexpectedly announced a totally revamped custom Android overlay called HyperOS, which was due to replace MIUI.

Now that the first phones with HyperOS started arriving, we see that despite the radical name change, HyperOS isn't all that different - at least on the surface.

People who are used to MIUI will feel right at home when using HyperOS. The overall aesthetics, some iconography changes aside, remain almost unchanged.

Xiaomi clearly focused more on under-the-hood changes and optimizations with HyperOS. Or at least the...

OnePlus confirms the Ace 3V is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset

For a few weeks now, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3V has been leaking left and right, and one thing all of the rumors about it had it common was an insistence that it would be powered by Qualcomm's yet-unannounced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. Up until today, that was still just a rumored spec for the device, however.

But now, OnePlus itself confirmed it through its official Weibo account. The Ace 3V does indeed have the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 at the helm, and that could mean the next Nord device - Nord 4 or Nord 5, depending on whether OnePlus wants to skip the unlucky 4 - will also have this chipset...

Motorola recently unveiled the Moto G (2024) and Moto G Power 5G (2024), and we now learn the brand will introduce a new smartphone on April 3.

We received an email from Motorola's Indian branch asking us to save that date to witness the "fusion of art and intelligence." The brand didn't divulge anything else, and there's nothing to ascertain about the smartphone from the graphic sent by Motorola.

Watch the ASUS Zenfone 11 Ultra livestream here

Not that long ago, Asus Zenfones came in two sizes – a small vanilla one and a larger Pro/Flip. But those days are behind us and if you bought an Asus phone in the last few years, you either got the petite Zenfone flagship or the large ROG Phone with all of its “gaming phone” styling (though the ROG Phone 8/8 Pro were optimized for more mainstream appeal).

Today comes the Asus Zenfone 11 Ultra and it marks the return to larger screens and batteries for Asus’ non-gaming phone line. Well, we assume so by the name – and by the copious leaks – as the company has not confirmed concrete...
