Samsung details the ProVisual Engine behind the Galaxy S24 Ultra's cameras

Samsung has published an infographic detailing the advancements it was able to achieve with the Galaxy S24 Ultra's new Quad Tele camera system and the ProVisual Engine that drives it.

It all starts with the improved Nightography on the tele end. The S24 Ultra's new 5x zoom camera has twice as big of a sensor and 60% larger pixels at 1.4μm than the old 10x imager. It also has a wider stabilization angle, meaning the OIS is better. Then on the behind-the-scenes side, the new 5x camera's AI-enabled image signal processor (ISP) has a 42% faster neural processing unit (NPU), and the shutter of...

Apple Vision Pro 2 isn't coming in the next 18 months, new report says

Apple releases a new iPhone family every year like clockwork, but the same won't be happening with the Vision Pro line of headsets, according to a new report from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who is generally very accurate with Apple-related rumors.

Gurman says the Apple Vision Pro 2 headset is at least 18 months away from launch at this point, so Apple is clearly using a different strategy for these compared to its smartphones.

The Vision Pro 2 is to arrive in August 2025 at the earliest, but it wouldn't be surprising for its launch to be pushed to September so it can coincide with the...

Galaxy F15 5G teaser images leak, reveal a 6,000mAh battery and promise 4 OS updates

Last week we saw a Geekbench result from the Samsung Galaxy F15 5G with a Dimensity 6100+ chipset, the same chip that is inside the Galaxy A15 5G. The two phones have a lot in common, though as leaked teaser images show there will be some differences too.

The biggest is that the F15 will have a 6,000mAh battery (1,000mAh more than the A15). This is the same capacity as last year’s Galaxy F14 5G that this phone will replace. We also saw the battery in question get certified recently. Anyway, the phone should support 25W charging over USB-C.

Samsung Galaxy F15 5G: 6,000mAh...

Huawei Pocket 2 is officially launching on February 22

Huawei is launching the Pocket 2 this Thursday, the company announced on its Weibo profile. The date is not a coincidence – the number two version with two circles is arriving on the 22nd day of the 2nd month. Sadly, it does not fall on Tuesday; otherwise the tongue-twister would've been complete.

The official teaser pretty much confirmed the leaked renders of the flip foldable were true – one circle for the cameras, and the other for external display. The arrival is a bit earlier than expected, as some rumors suggested the Pocket 2 will arrive alongside the P70...
