Xiaomi could be facing troubles selling its devices in Finland, a report by Suomimobiili revealed. The three major carriers, Telia, DNA, and Elisa, are suspending sales of the Chinese company in response to the brand's presence in Russia after the beginning of the war in Ukraine last year.
On the other hand, retailers Gigantti and Verkkokauppa stated that since the EU does not ban Xiaomi, they will continue to sell products until further notice.
Xiaomi was declared as an “international sponsor of war” by the National Agency of Corruption Prevention in Ukraine earlier this year...

Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 12T are receiving Android 14-based MIUI 14 stable beta
Google still hasn't released the market-ready version of Android 14 but it seems like Xiaomi isn't waiting around for that as the company is now seeding a stable beta version of Android 14-based MIUI 14 to beta testers of Xiaomi 13, 13 Pro and 12T. Sure, it's not entirely ready, but stable beta is pretty much the last step before a widespread rollout.
The update for the 13 and 13 Pro carries version 14.2.0 UMCMIXM and MIUI 14.0.2.0 UMBMIXM, respectively and weighs in at 5.4GB with the August security patch preloaded. Xiaomi 12T, on the other hand, gets 14.0.4.0 UMQMIXM.
The Xiaomi...

OnePlus reveals upcoming Pad Go tablet
OnePlus today revealed the design of its upcoming OnePlus Pad Go tablet. Following seven months after the release of its first ever tablet, the OnePlus Pad, the Pad Go seems like a cheaper variant.
As of now, we don't really have any concrete details other than what is visible in the image. The design and even the dimensions seem very similar to that of the OnePlus Pad, with curved corners and thin bezels on the front. The biggest difference is that the back now has a two-tone finish while still being largely made out of aluminum.
The OnePlus Pad Go also shares the color with...

Weekly poll: Are you buying an Apple iPhone 15?
You already heard our thoughts on the iPhone 15 and on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, now we want to hear what you think of Apple’s latest (and supposedly greatest) smartphones.
The big change this year is that Apple adopted the industry standard USB-C for its iPhone 15 series (and the updated AirPods Pro 2). It did so under duress from the EU, but Tim Cook and company put a positive spin on it. From a previous poll we already know that the majority approves of this move. But is that enough to get you to upgrade?
Hold your horses, there are so many upgrades that we need to talk about. Like the...

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE looks similar to the Galaxy A54, but it has a metal frame since there are antenna lines on the phone's left side in the image, with the power button and volume rocker on the right.
The Galaxy S23 FE...

Apple updates AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C, Lossless Audio and IP54 rating
Yesterday marked a monumental shift for Apple – Lightning is now a connector of the past while USB-C is fully embraced. This means that the AirPods Pro 2 are now also updated with the universal connector but that’s not the only new feature.
AirPods Pro 2 with the USB-C charging case now supports 20-bit, 48 kHz Lossless Audio but there's a catch - it only works with Apple Vision Pro headset which is set to debut in the US early next year. Apple says the H2 chip inside the AirPods Pro 2 which is also present on the Vision Pro, allows for Lossless Audio transmission but this begs the...

The Pixel 8's Tensor G3 will run cooler than the G2
The Tensor G3 chip, which is reportedly made by Samsung and is based on its Exynos 2400, could be the first Samsung Foundry chip to incorporate FO-WLP (Fan-out wafer-level packaging) packaging. This enhanced wafer-level packaging will, in theory, allow for better efficiency, improved graphics performance, and more energy being saved.
FO-WLP has been used by Qualcomm and MediaTek, but this is supposedly the first time Samsung Foundry is using the tech.
The 4nm Tensor G3 will be inside the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro and will have a 9-core CPU - one Cortex-X3 prime core, four...

Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 to get new heart rate sensor, U2 chip
Apple will unveil the Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2 at its September 12 "Wonderlust" event. Weekly poll: will you use the Fairphone 5 for the next 8 years?
Apple has a reputation of having the best software support in the smartphone world, but when iOS 16 arrived in 2022, it was only for phones from 2017 and onward – 2016’s iPhone 7 and iPhone SE were dropped. That’s better than Android makers, which only do OS updates for four years at most... well, it’s better than most Android makers.
Dutch company Fairphone made waves with its fifth generation phone – by using an industrial Qualcomm chip, it can promise support for 8 years (with an option to extend that to 10 years). This means security patches, but the company is also targeting “at...
