Google Pixel Fold arrives as the company's first foldable

The Pixel Tablet and Pixel 7a were joined today on stage at Google's I/O conference by the long-rumored, oft-leaked, recently teased Pixel Fold, the company's first foldable smartphone. It measures 139.7 x 79.5 x 12.1 mm when folded, and 139.7 x 158.7 x 5.8 mm when unfolded, weighing 283g. It's IPX8 rated for water resistance (not dust, though, bear that in mind). At its I/O annual developer conference today, Google took a short break from uttering the word "AI" all the time to unveil some new hardware. And just as we expected, the Pixel Tablet is now fully official. First teased last year, it's definitely been a long time coming. Sharp Aquos R8 and R8 Pro announced in Japan

Samsung to bring 2x mode to Galaxy S23 series in next update

Samsung's Galaxy S23 smartphones have marvelous camera capabilities, but one feature is still missing. The company will soon enable 2x portrait zoom, the Samsung camera development team revealed in Korean community forums. Having returned to the top of our trending chart the Samsung Galaxy A54 built a commanding lead this time around as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra lost some of its interest and dropped down the ranks.
